13|EXCEL – Transform Your Data!

I have been feeling super out of practice with Excel since it’s been a few months but this exercise was great for some reminders and getting right back into it. It was fun to practice a lot of formulas I forgot even existed. Here was my solution!

Here is my File! This was a good refresher.
For some reason when I was trying to get the birth year, simply putting =RIGHT(B2,4) would not work for me and I had to find a way to work around it. Let me know if this happened to anyone else.

I was fun having to think through the Right, Left, and Mid equations. This excerise really help enforce how they work and how they can be helpful. I also messed around with different ways to extract the dates like use the functions DATEVALUE and YEAR. Overall this was a great excell exercise.
